Program Content: The purpose of this Electricity program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in a variety of electrical industries. The program covers the use of tools, Ohms Law, blueprint reading, NEC (National Electric Code), DC and AC, circuits, basic safety, construction site etiquette, conduit bending, residential and light commercial “rough-in/trim-out” of wiring.
Length of Program: 1500 hours – approximately 14 months full-time to complete.
or 1500 hours – approximately 24 months part-time evening to complete.
Industry Certification: Program graduates are prepared to earn the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification.
