We are open and available to help with questions about tuition and fees, due dates, making payments, Florida Prepaid, student refunds, and other student account topics. We are here to serve students who attend Manatee Technical College by maintaining accurate financial records and communicating with students concerning their accounts.
MTC does not mail out tuition bills. To find out your account balance:
Please check your student finance summary on the student portal www.mtcdashboard.net to view your balance and payment due dates for the classes you are enrolled in. MTC’s policy is that students may not attend classes if they have an outstanding balance due or if the required financial aid paperwork to cover those is not complete. Failure to do so will result in being dropped from your current/future classes.
Payment Options for Tuition and Fees
Cashier Clerks process student payments by Cash or Check/Money Order.
Computers are available for students to make credit card payments through the student portal: www.mtcdashboard.net.
Credit Card Payments
Visa and MasterCard payments can be made on the student portal: www.mtcdashboard.net.
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are the recommended search engines for making payments on the student portal: www.mtcdashboard.net.
- Log in to the student portal.
- On the Home page locate the “My Finances” section.
- Click “Update Charges” to see the full list of outstanding charges and due dates before making a payment.
Checks/ Money Order Payments
Checks/ Money Order must be made payable to MTC (Manatee Technical College) and must include your student ID number, and driver’s license number on the front to ensure payment is applied to the student whom it is intended.

Florida Prepaid Tuition
Students will need to bring in or email their Florida Prepaid letter to firstname.lastname@example.org to activate your account.
For each OCP you are enrolled in, Florida Prepaid will be invoiced for tuition only. Students are responsible for all the other fees.
Third-party billing is offered to outside agencies\companies requesting to be invoiced for a student’s tuition and fees. A third party cannot be an individual student or a student’s parent. If you are a student and are expecting an outside agency to pay for your tuition and fees, Student Financials must be provided with authorization to bill that agency.
An authorization is a written statement, preferably on agency letterhead, giving MTC permission to bill that agency. The authorization should contain the following information:
- Contact person (name, phone number, e-mail)
- Billing Address
- Student’s full name and student ID number
- Specific term/ OCP that will be paid
- Specific charges that will be paid
