Graduation June 2022

Graduation is live in person at our Main Campus. It will also be simulcast live on MSTV at 9 a.m and 6 p.m. on June 30.

They will be rerun on July 6 on MSTV: Our 9 a.m. will be on at 8 p.m and our 6 p.m. will be on at 9 p.m.

MSTV is carried by local cable companies including Spectrum Channel 646 and Frontier 39.

Programs graduate at different times. Check the time below for your graduation.

IMPORTANT: To participate in your program’s graduation ceremony, a student must have completed and returned a paper application to the MTC Bookstore to be cleared for graduation. If you have not completed this mandatory step, you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony. Additionally, students are ONLY allowed to participate in the ceremony time assigned for their program.

MTC GRADUATION DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

• Caps and gowns must be worn by all Graduates. Wear your cap flat on your head with the tassel on the right side of your cap.
• Honor cords for NTHS and NAEHS. CTSO participants may wear their CTSO cord or medals. No other cords or sashes are permissible to be worn with cap and gown attire.
• Under the gown, we request that men wear dark trousers, a neatly pressed, light-colored dress shirt, dark tie, dark socks, and dress shoes. Ladies should wear a dress, skirt, or dark dress slacks with a light-colored blouse, and dress shoes.
• Wear shoes that you can walk in safely and comfortably. Remember you may be climbing and descending stairs.
• Graduation caps may NOT be decorated or altered in any way. If a cap is decorated or altered, the graduate will need to purchase another cap from the bookstore for $8.00 to be able to participate in the Graduation ceremony.
• Not appropriate attire: Shorts, jeans, athletic shoes, and flip-flops

GRADUATION DAY PROCEDURES

• Graduates must arrive at the MTC Main Campus one-hour prior to the start of the ceremony to check-in and to line-up.
• Please encourage your guests to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony time to ensure everyone is seated before the ceremony begins.
• You will be given a “prop” diploma on-stage at Graduation. This is NOT your official MTC diploma/completion certificate. If you have not received your diploma/completion certificate(s) within two weeks after your completion date, please contact your program’s department secretary.
