Welcome to Manatee Technical College Community Training Center (CTC). Manatee Technical College’s CTC is a designated Training Center in Manatee County for the American Heart Association (AHA).
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of training, based on the newest American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, to healthcare professionals as well as to the community.
We offer a wide variety of classes (Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support just to mention a few) and we are proud to have approximately 20 highly qualified Instructors from different professions (Nurses, Paramedics, Firefighters etc.) teaching at our Training Center. Please check out our full schedule of classes.
There are also more than 200 Instructors aligned with our Training Center. They are teaching at different training sites, hospitals, medical centers, facilities and/or independently.
Between our Instructors and the aligned Instructors we are teaching CPR to several thousand people every year and we are working to grow this number even more to continue to increase the awareness of prevention, early recognition and successful resuscitation.
Our Community Training Center supports the idea to make CPR a requirement in every school and we’re doing our part by teaching CPR to 5th graders in the Manatee County School District for several years already.
