We will be interviewing and making on-the-spot Full Time and Part Time job offers for our Deli, Grocery, Meat and Bakery departments and we’d love to meet you! We are hiring for multiple stores in the Sarasota area!

We are looking for friendly, customer-service-oriented people to join our hard-working team.

Job Descriptions include:

Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
Maintains Publix’s high standards for freshness and sanitation.
Sells products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
Fills, maintains, and rotates products and displays.
Prepares special orders and party trays.
Operates cash registers, meat and cheese slicers, oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale, and other Deli equipment.
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

At least 18 years of age.
Ability to communicate with customers and deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Experience in the food service industry and with food preparation is preferred.
