MTC Advisory Committees

Building a Bridge Between Education and the Workforce

At Manatee Technical College, we believe in the power of collaboration between education and industry to shape the future workforce. Our advisory committees play a vital role in ensuring that our career and technical education programs align with the demands of the rapidly evolving job market. Comprising industry experts, educators, and community leaders, these committees provide invaluable insights, guidance, and feedback to enhance curriculum relevance, identify emerging trends, and foster meaningful partnerships. Through active engagement with our advisory committees, we strive to equip our students with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to succeed in today’s competitive landscape and thrive in their chosen careers.

Every Adult, Career and Technical Education Program within MTC has an Advisory Committee that provides advice and assistance to the instructors and administrators. Employers and individuals from the local community with expertise in specific career fields and the capacity to employ our students are warmly welcomed to serve on our advisory committees. These dedicated members play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that our programs are finely tuned to meet the ever-evolving demands of local businesses and industries.
