Dual Enrollment Programs

Dual enrollment at MTC enables junior and senior high school students to participate in post-secondary courses while still enrolled in high school.  Our dual enrollment program works in two ways:

  • Students can enroll at MTC on a full-time basis and complete their academics online.
  • Students can enroll at MTC on a part-time basis while completing their academics at their high school.

High school students who are in grades 11 and 12 may attend MTC and get a head-start on industry certification. Students must take a minimum of three elective credits to be dual enrolled at MTC. Participating students, meeting all established requirements, will graduate from their high school and from MTC. They will also be eligible to participate in extracurricular activities including the graduation ceremony at MTC. There is no tuition or charge for books. However, lab fees, materials costs, equipment and/or uniform costs may apply.
