Program Description:
This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Education & Training career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Education & Training career cluster. Students train and test to earn their required 45 hours of DCF training.
The content includes but is not limited to organizational leadership, financial management, legal obligations and responsibilities, educational programming, marketing strategies, assessment, monitoring practices, observations, referrals and collaboration of programs with families and community resources.

Requirements:
Have a high school or bachelor’s degree translated from another country, a GED may not be required.
You only need a Social Security number for select East Campus programs.
We are NOT a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certified institution and do NOT participate in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), or the F, J or M visas programs. We are not an I-20 institution.
