CNC Production Specialist

Program Content: The purpose of the CNC Production is to prepare the students for employment by teaching them the skills necessary for successfully operating and programming a variety of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) milling and turning centers. This includes, but is not limited to safety standards, underlying principles, of technology, labor issues, maintaining quality, keeping detailed job records, maintain equipment, and tracking supplies according to protocol.

Length of Program: 600 hours – approximately 6 months full time to complete.

Industry Certification: National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Level 1
