The Financial Aid Office provides financial assistance to students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend. Grants and scholarships do not have to be repaid; however, students must make satisfactory progress in their programs in order to continue to be eligible for awards. The in-state tuition rate is $2.92 per clock hour. The out-of-state tuition rate is $11.71 per clock hour. We do not offer student loans.
All current and potential students are required to email their documents to firstname.lastname@example.org – No paper documents will be accepted.
How to Apply For Financial Aid
1. Apply for FAFSA.
All students seeking financial assistance at Manatee Tech must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Make sure you add our Federal School Code: 015496 If you complete a FAFSA and do not qualify for aid, you are encouraged to apply for aid through CareerSource Suncoast: CareerSourceSuncoast.com
FAFSA qualifies you for Federal Aid (Title IV), such as the Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and Federal Work Study. It may qualify you for State Aid, such as the Florida Student Assistance Grant. These will be automatically applied to your account after we receive your FAFSA and all required documents – you don’t need to do anything. Manatee Technical College is a clock-hour school.
