MTC virtual open houses – Oct 27-East & Nov 5-Main & West

(Bradenton, FL—October 23, 2020) Manatee Technical College is offering virtual open houses to make it easier for potential students to see inside the halls of the MTC campuses.
Each open house will be a single video that premieres on MTC’s Facebook and YouTube page at 7 p.m. East Campus open house is set for October 27. Main and West Campus combined open house will be November 5. The video will give an overview of the college, an introduction to the respective campus, and an overview of all programs that the campus offers.

“Manatee Technical College wants the community to know we are here to help them get started on a new career path,” said MTC director Dr. Valerie Viands. “CARES Act funding is available to help those whose jobs have been disrupted by the pandemic, and MTC will help with job placement, too.”

East campus offers career and technical education (CTE) programs in healthcare and public service. The main campus offers CTE programs in automotive and marine technologies, business technology, digital technology, construction, information technology, manufacturing, and service industries, as well as apprenticeships and adult English as a second language (ESL). West campus provides on-campus and online instruction in GED® preparation and adult ESL. Main and East campuses returned to on-campus instruction on October 19.
