MTI students leave for SkillsUSA Nationals

SKILLSUSA NLSC KC

MTI’s students left for Kansas City on Sunday to compete in the National SkillsUSA Championships.  SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.  During the week-long event, nearly 6,000 career and technical education students will compete hands-on in 98 different trade, technical and leadership fields.

MTI students have won more medals at SkillsUSA National Championships than any other school, technical center or college in the United States for nine years in a row! With 2013 designated as our Year of Wonders, we hope to make it ten years in a row!  Please join us in wishing for our students have a great week in Kansas City!  Go MTI!
