NEW FATHER RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP FROM MTC FOUNDATION

Two weeks after becoming a new father, Manatee Technical College (MTC) student Anthony Ardizone received another blessing. The Manatee Technical College Foundation presented him with a $2,000 scholarship prior to the first pitch of the July 31st Marauders baseball game at LECOM Park. The scholarship will allow him to earn his final certification in MTC’s Welding program.

MTC Foundation Board of Directors John Ziemnicki, Welding Program Director Gary Martin, Welding Program Instructor Jay Lloyd and MTC Foundation Executive Director Virginia Sirocky joined Marty the Marauder for the check presentation.

The mission of the MTC Foundation is to identify and obtain resources for the betterment of the students, programs and constituents of the Manatee Technical College.
