Photography, Art, Cartooning, I-Pad, Golf starting in November
(Bradenton, FL—October 22, 2015) Capture the beauty and love of the holidays through photography. Make art of your memories. Create cartoons. Get the most out of your I-Phone/I-Pad. Learn computer basics. Get ready for the golf course. These classes and more will be offered starting in November at Manatee Technical College.
MTC’s non-credit enrichment classes are open to all adults for their enjoyment and enrichment. They offer a low-cost way to learn something new and meet others with similar interests.
Photography: Master Photographer Carmen Schettino will teach how to get the maximum creative use and enjoyment out of a digital camera for years to come.
Art: Margi Nanney will teach you how to make art of your memories, mix art with history, turn trash into treasures, and the basics of painting and drawing.
Computer Art: William Ferrell will teach cartooning, graphic design programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as digital editing and painting.
Apple products: Ryan Bremner will teach how you how to get the most out of all your Apple devices, including I-Phone, I-Pad and Apple TV, as well as I-Cloud and Mac OSX.
Computer Basics: Craig DeToma will help you get comfortable using your computer, from how to turn it on to sending attachments, using the Internet and other fun things.
Golf: Dave Frantz will get you ready to step on the golf course with an intro to the rules, putting, the short game, the swing, and time on a course.
Photography is $125 for 6 three-hour classes. All other adult enrichment classes are $25 per class or a series (5 classes) for $100. Most classes meet one evening per week for 3.5 hours.
