Job Title or Skills Set Required

Marine Production Technician

Responsibilities:
• Understanding and following of all safety procedures and policies.
• Operate power tools, such as screw guns, drills, caulk guns, and grinders.
• Able to read/understand diagrams, work instructions, and travelers/options related to the build in the area.
• Able to perform Assembly Rigging on two models.
• Able to operate advanced tools such as Hoists, Torque wrenches, Grinders & Saws.
• Prep items for install (mirrors, windshields, etc.)
• Submit ECR's for Assembly improvements including build, documentation and process/product
• Prep items for install (mirrors, windshields, etc.)
• Install basic components (grab rails, upholstery clips, floor hatches and hardware, gunnel, cleats, coaming boxes, canvas)
• Troubleshoot Assembly Rigging Opportunities
• Apply creamy and black caulk to meet quality standards.
• Cross trained in one other department (ex. HAS to DAS, DAS to FAS, DAS to SAS)
• Assembly build meets Quality expectations (caulking, surface/product damage/upholstery, fastened, overall quality build of boat)
• Complete fuel pressure testing
• Troubleshoot/Diagnose fuel leak
• Perform inspection with Lead or Supervisor
• Complete duct work / plumbing
• Install thru hole fittings and under water fittings
• Set a Module in one model
• Install gas tank
• Secure harnesses in open hull
• Set stern drive engine
• Install door trim, upholstery and Plexus clips
• Secure harnesses in open hull
• Hang outboard bucket
• Hang single outboard engine
• Join vessel and pin vessel after joining
• Ensure knuckle to knuckle height after joining
• Install dive door and head/cabin door
• Install Windshields on Pilot and non Pilot House Models
• Install Canvas and hard top
• Able to do hard top sub assembly
• Handle Sea keeper and gyro stabilizer Installations
• Able to access documentation / WIP Tracker on SharePoint
• Prepare product for shipping.
• Apply decals and Warning Labels
• Submit ECR's for Assembly improvements including build, documentation and process/product.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred but not required.
• Technical School Accreditation or Applicable skilled trade program preferred.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Mechanically inclined and basic math needed.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow assembly diagrams.
• Ability to climb ladders and move around inside and outside of boats.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Work well with a team and individually.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attendance a must.
• Time management skills.
