Job Description: Installation Supervisor

Position Overview:
TAG is seeking an Installation Supervisor to lead and oversee installation crews for our cutting-edge overhead conveying material handling systems, primarily serving the retail and rental clothing industries. As an Installation Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful installation of power and free overhead monorail systems, high-speed sortation systems, and other related equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, site coordination, and maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a Working Supervisor, leading and supervising crews ranging from 2-20 individuals during installation.
• Install power and free overhead monorail systems, pouch/pocket sorters, gravity conveyors, mezzanines, pallet racks, etc.
• Travel extensively across North America, primarily within the continental USA.
• Manage time sheets, material/tool inventories, on-site fabrication/assembly, scheduling/reporting, equipment rentals, and temporary labor.
• Lift and bend to move equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be present on-site approximately 80 to 85% of the time.
• Adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
• Fulfill all other responsibilities that apply to an Installation Supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Valid work authorization.
• Minimum 2-3 years as a working installation supervisor (preferably in material handling/conveyor installations).
• Ability to read and execute installations from blueprints.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Meet/exceed safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Proficient in project management (time sheets, expense reports, inventory tracking).
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Professional and responsible representation of TAG.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
