Position Title: CSR-Parts/Service
Employment Type: Hourly Full-time
Salary: Starting at $23.00/hour
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Parts/Service supports PPiTG machinery customers by providing product and service information and helps to resolve customer issues on a continuous basis. This position requires excellent time management, organization, and communication skills to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supply quotes on parts and service to existing customers.
-Schedule service visits and communicate customer needs to service technicians.
-Resolve product or service concerns by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the concern, selecting and
explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure complete issue
resolution.
-Works closely with in house sales, factory, and technical teams.
-Assist in maintaining financial accounts by processing customer adjustments in a timely manner.
-Recommend potential products or services to sales by collecting customer information, analyzing customer needs, and sharing this
information with appropriate PPiTG staff.
-Prepare product and/or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED certificate required.
-Prior experience in the machinery/packaging industry is preferred.
-Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
-Knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, machinery, and other equipment.
-Basic technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware devices.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Meticulous attention to detail.
-Ability to multi-task when necessary.
-Excellent customer service skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers to help resolve their issues
satisfactorily.
-Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions within the scope of the position.
-Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
-Ability to maintain strict customer and corporate confidentiality.
Physical Demands:
-Varied activities including sitting (for extended periods of time), standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
-Manual dexterity to operate various types of office equipment including, but not limited to computers, copy machines, printers, etc.
-Periodic need to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
-Work is performed in a fast-paced, high volume, office and manufacturing environment.
-Must be able to tolerate frequent interruptions from customers, staff, and others.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to customer locations, training events, trade shows, etc. may be required.
