Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, muffins, cakes, pies, cookies, and seasonal specialty desserts.
• Follow provided recipes while ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
• Assist in developing new dessert items, seasonal features, and special-event offerings.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts with attention to detail and visual appeal.
• Ensure all products meet established quality standards for flavor, freshness, and appearance.
• Maintain portion control and minimize waste through proper production planning.
• Label and store all products properly to ensure food safety and freshness.
• Organize production schedules based on par levels, special orders, events, and business volume.
Qualifications & Skills
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar baking-focused role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
• Ability to follow recipes consistently while contributing creativity to the pastry program.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak business periods.
• Must uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
