We are looking for an energetic enthusiastic educator to join our award winning and accredited center! The assistant educator's responsibilities include supervision of children and classroom activities to ensure all children are cared for and safe. Maintaining a clean classroom environment in accordance with the NAEYC guidelines. Assisting children with meals and clean-up times, communicate with parents and other staff and counseling children when social, academic or adjustment problems arise.
Must have an "Eligible" status background screening, details will be provided.
Must meet the state requirements of DCF 40+5 as well as School Readiness courses.
Must be able to lift no less than 40 lbs.
