General Duties –
Assist construction site workers in erecting structures.
Unload and load construction materials.
Distribute materials.
Erect concrete forms and scaffolding.
Mix and pour concrete and mortar.
Level concrete and earth using trowels and shovels.
Remove debris.
Direct and control traffic.
Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment.
Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance.
Oil and grease hoists.
Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers
Requirements –
Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required: None.
Preferred: Prior experience with hand tools (tape measure, hammer, square, chalk line, etc. or
Two (2) or more years in the construction industry as a laborer or other construction trade role.
