We are the ONLY producer of ceramic idlers used in conveyers (such as in mines, quarries and electrical plants).

This job may be for you then! The shift for this position will be Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 am – 5 pm (40 hours). Occasional overtime (paid at time and a half) may be required due to business needs or during our peak season which could include working up to 60 hours per week.

Responsibilities
• Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
• Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Performs all other duties as directed by Management

• Mechanically competant with the ability to learn and seek out new skills
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Ability to inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and within tight deadlines
• Extremely organized, acute attention to detail, and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to safely operate (or learn to operate) a forklift, pallet jack and/or overhead crane while moving machinery around the shop
• Promotes a positive outlook
• Required to wear PPE equipment at all times while on production floor
• Extremely dependable; consistently at work and on time (notifies if late or absent prior to being late or absent), follows instruction, responds positively to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

Bonus if you have:
• Experience with design and fabrication of fixtures for machines
• Computer literate with the ability to learn set ups and programming
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain all types of simple assembly and material prints and BOMs
• Knowledge of air tools, power tools, grinders, and hand tools
• General knowledge of shop machines and precision measuring tools
• Welding
