Test Technician
Salary: $19-$22/hour
Location: Sarasota, FL 34243

Employment Type: 6 Month Contract
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of electrical experience or an Associate's Degree in engineering technologies (or a related field).
Ability to write electrical schematics and test procedures / user manuals required.
Ability to use electrical and measurement devices (DMM, Power Supplies, Hi-Pot tester, Oscilloscope).
Ability to read and understand MIL Specs and International Standards (AS, DO-160).
Basic knowledge in Electricity (Generators, AC, DC, Resistances, Inductances).
Ability to understand and develop automation.
Ability to read and interpret standards.
Good communication and coordination skills are required to work with multiple customers and schedule lab equipment efficiently.
Soldering skills (IPC Certification) preferred.
Ability to use computer applications, including Microsoft Office, as required.
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Job Duties:
As an Aircraft Engineering Test Technician your responsibilities will include:
Run electrical tests, vibrations tests, element tests, to military standards provided by the US government.
Provide test lab technician services for internal and external customers in a capable, organized, timely, and safe manner.
Modification of lab test stands and implementing design changes.
Safe setup, conducting of tests, completion of test reports and test data sheets.
Assist in the troubleshooting of test setups, products, and systems.
Implementing and maintaining 6S standards to promote efficiency, organization, and safety in the workplace.
Includes the capability of conducting a test which takes into account any safety and requirements; verifies the capability of the DUT to the requirements submitted by the customer; and collects the data required to properly document the test results.
