Orange Blossom Woodworks & Design is a family-owned Sarasota shop building high-end custom cabinetry, built-ins and architectural woodwork in-house. We are seeking an experienced hands-on cabinet builder who can fabricate custom cabinets from raw materials through final assembly.
Required skills:
• Build and assemble accurate, square cabinet boxes.
• Read detailed shop drawings and plans; work from precise measurements.
• Perform precision cutting, joinery, fitting and assembly using woodworking machinery and hand/power tools safely.
• Build and fit cabinet components, doors, drawers and custom built-ins with consistent alignment and clearances.
• Handle finish carpentry, sanding and preparation for painted or stained finishes.
• Work dependably with the shop team and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Direct custom cabinet fabrication experience is essential. Please explain what you have personally fabricated from raw materials. Experience installing purchased cabinetry, flat-pack assembly, refacing or general handyman work alone does not meet the fabrication needs of this role. CNC experience is a plus.
Work is on-site in Sarasota. Hours and schedule discussed directly with Ashley. Weekend availability is helpful.
