Graduation Information

Dear MTC Completer,

Congratulations on completing your program at Manatee Technical College! 
Our Winter Graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 22^nd at 5:00 PM at the Manatee Technical College Main campus, 6305 State Road 70 East, Bradenton, for students who have completed MTC Career & Technical Education programs since January 22, 2025.  We have planned a grand ceremony with pomp and circumstance, programs, caps, and gowns. 

Be sure to read the graduation guidelines below to help you prepare for the ceremony. At the MTC bookstore, you will pick up your cap and gown and four (4) guest tickets to the ceremony, as seating is limited. 

Please note: All graduates must wear caps and gowns, which cannot be decorated. Personalized stoles are not permitted.

Under the gown, we recommend that men wear dark trousers, a neatly pressed light colored dress shirt, a dark tie, dark socks, and dress shoes. Ladies should wear a dress, skirt, or dark dress slacks with a light-colored blouse, and dress shoes.  Not appropriate: Shorts, jeans, athletic shoes, and flip-flops.  Remember, you will be climbing and descending stairs, so wear proper shoes to walk safely and comfortably.
