Air Products gives $3,000 to MTI for welding training

Manatee Tech Thanks Air Products

Air Products Plant Manager Mark Evans dropped off $3,000 for Manatee Technical Institute to express appreciation and support Friday. The school has been training welders for Air Products for about a year.

“At Air Products Port Manatee, we are very fortunate to work with you and truly appreciate the sincerity and energy that you put into our community,” Evans wrote in a letter to MTI.

The welding program will use the money to fund scholarships for students with financial need to purchase required welding gear.
