Automotive Service Technology - Manatee Technical College

Program Content: The purpose of the Automotive Service Technology program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in the automotive industry.  Class and laboratory activities include instruction in applied theory, the use of tools, equipment, materials, and processes found in the industry. Diagnostic troubleshooting is emphasized in all areas of instruction. This program is NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, Inc.) accreditated.

Length of Program: 1800 hours – approximately 18 months full time to complete
