Two HS students awarded Ad-VANCE scholarships to MTC

(Bradenton, FL—July 9, 2021) Two Manatee District high school students were awarded scholarships from Ad-VANCE Talent Solutions to attend Manatee Technical College in the fall of 2021.
Jorge Zuleta, a graduate of Palmetto High School, has enrolled in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program at MTC. After completion of the career certificate program, he is planning on a career in AC repair and maintenance.
Carissa Heuer, a Manatee High School graduate, has enrolled in the culinary program with aspirations of owning her own restaurant one day.

According to Emma Couche, recruiting assistant with Ad-VANCE, students from all Manatee School District high schools may apply and be considered for the scholarship from Ad-VANCE Talent Solutions. Requirements for consideration include reference letters and a video interview. Students are required to apply with Manatee Technical College before they receive the scholarship and enroll in a program. Ad-VANCE also offers the scholarship winners employment during and after their enrollment at MTC.

Owner and CEO Brion Sunseri presented the checks to the students at MTC. Sunseri has been an active business partner with MTC since 1995.
