Sugar Cubed, 1506 13th St. W., Bradenton. The bakery is owned by Dana Johnson, who spent five years as a certified executive pastry chef at Manatee Technical Institute and has received the Best Chef’s America award.
Cappuccino streusel muffins, key lime Danish, raspberry crumb cake and gluten-free peanut-butter cookies are among the regular offerings at the bakery, along with a selection of desserts and pastries that change daily.
Beverage options include a selection of locally roasted, flavored coffees, cappuccino and espresso, as well as the seasonal signature mango-blackberry iced tea.
Occasion cakes and catering services are also available.
