MTC inducts 26 into National Adult Education Honor Society | From the Bradenton Herald
BRADENTON — Manatee Technical College will induct 26 students into the National Adult Education Honor Society at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bayshore High School Auditorium.
This will be the first induction ceremony for the school as Manatee Technical College rather than Manatee Technical Institute. It will also be the first time evening students are included in the honors.
Students chosen for this honor are in the top 2 percent of their class. The Manatee adult education program serves more than 1,300 students. About half the inductees are working toward their GEDs, and the other half are learning English as a secondary language.
